Amidst everything else going on in the world right now—and there’s a lot—, I can share a bit of news.
First: my story “An Elicitation of Thursdays” is now online at Broken Eye Books! You’ll need to join their Patreon to read for the time being. It will appear later down the road in a physical and tangible anthology of weird fiction.
I wrote this story ages ago, using characters from 2003 and a setting from 1997. (If anyone out there remembers my old, old website, it’s in that world–though it’s an original story.) It’s jarring and delighting to see old stories reborn, and I do hope you enjoy it.
Other news: my story “Foster-Child of Silence and Slow Time” will be included in the anthology MY BATTERY IS LOW AND IT IS GETTING DARK from Zombies Need Brains. The ZNB team pulls together masterful collections; I’m always honored to have work sitting alongside SFF luminaries. It’s available for preorder now and should be in your hands by 01 July.
Hope everyone is doing well in these strange times. Until then… expect me when you see me.
